Round-of-a-Paws to Girl Scout Troop #964!

Round-of-a-Paws!

Thank you to the young ladies of Girl Scout Troop #964 for making beautiful blankets for the dogs and cats in our shelter! Our animals appreciate your hard work!

Do you have a Girl Scout Troop or group looking for a service project helping animals? Create blankets like Troop #964, or visit our website to download a copy of our Wish List. Your group can hold a supply drive to collect items our shelter needs each and every day, from paper towels to pet treats!

You can also visit the Valley Animal Center's booth at the Girl Scouts of Central California South's "World Thinking Day" at the Fresno Convention Center Exhibit Hall on Saturday, February 28th from 10 am to 3 pm! We hope to see you there!

Round-of-a-Paws to Build-a-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation

Round-of-a-Paws!

Thank you to the Build-a-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation for awarding a $1,000 grant to the Valley Animal Center!

The $1,000 grant will be used to provide for the care of the dogs and cats awaiting adoption in our shelter. From all of us (including our furry, four-legged friends) - THANK YOU!

The Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation is committed to making life more bearable for children, families and pets, in need of a helping paw. With the sale of each full-sized Bearemy’s Kennel Pals® friend -- a collection of Build‑A‑Bear Workshop® plush dogs -- one dollar is donated to domestic pet programs including local animal shelters, stray pet rescue and rehabilitation organizations, and pet education programs around the country such as the Valley Animal Center.
