Character Counts When Caring for Animals!
Thank you to local students for your compassionate care for our animals!
The Valley Animal Center is so proud of all of the students who participated in our 2009 "Caring Counts When Caring for Animals" contest during our Annual Change Campaign. Today, the Valley Animal Center was presented a check for $2,132.50 from Clark Intermediate School in Clovis. The Clark Students raised the most money of any school group in the history of the Change Campaign, thanks to the hard work of Rosemary Graff and her Auxilary Education class!
Thank you to Miss Hoffamn's Class at Garfield Elementary who raised over $1,500 for the shelter!
In addition to school visits, the Valley Animal Center is now offering field trips for local students. For more information, please contact the Administrative Office at 559-233-8690.Thank you students and teachers!!
